The current 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue two pickup model is fitted with a Burstbucker # 1 pickup in the neck position, and a Burstbucker # 2 in the bridge position.

The body of the 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue is painted in a dark deep Ebony, and it is encased in nitrocellulose lacquer, and it is buffed to a high gloss finish, that is simply breathtaking.
The neck profile on the 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue is an early 1950’s rounded profile, and it is thicker than a modern Les Paul Standard or a modern Les Paul Custom.

This guitar also has a long neck tenon that extends deeply into the body of the guitar below the neck pickup, and has the original style truss rod root and channel.
