Jag börjar få ihop mitt Ceriatone Overtone bygge (rapport kommer i den gamla tråden[:)]). Jag hittade två Sovtek 5881WXT i mina lådor som jag tänker testa med. Av någon anledning har jag svårt att hitta datablad för dessa på nätet. 20 eller 23 W anodförlust och att de ska ställas med het bias, muttras det om men hittar inget rejält datablad. Någon som kan tipsa om det?[:)]

Hot hot hot. Det där är inte mina favoritrör, men de låter fett och fast om man låter dem svettas rejält.
De erfarenheter jag tagit del av säger att dessa Sovtek-rör antagligen är felspecade och kan räknas som i varje fall 30w-rör. Det betyder att bias i området 42-48mA vid B+ 425 är fullt möjligt.
Någon som kan bekräfta?

Är det samma rör som sitter i Fender Hotrod Deluxe (Deville)?

Even though Fender okayed them on the tube sheet, which is located on the inside of the Hot Rod Deluxe's cabinet, I decided to place them here. The reason they're included in the grey area is because of their specs; a maximum of 360 volts and 23 watts on the plates, and a maximum screen rating of 270 volts at 3 watts. vacuumtubes.com warns "DO NOT USE IN AMPS CALLING FOR 6L6GC's. They will likely melt down and damage your amp." So, they'll remain in this category under "proceed at your own risk."

Someone asked a very good question the other day in an email. They pointed out that the stock power tubes are 5881WXT, so I've been misleading people with the advice here. However, the Sovtek 5881WXT is not a real 5881. They're not even really audio tubesâ€â€

5881WXT är mycket robusta rör, och låter som bäst när de går varmt som Izzy skriver, kan annars låta lite tråkigt och platt, har själv kört med 37mA/rör vid 500V i en förstärkare under ett par år. Bra rör för förstärkare som låter lite kallt och vasst. Förstärkare som i sig har en mörk ton kan låta murrigt med dessa rör.

De ska användas som 30W 6L6GC ej som gamla 23W 5881:or.
