-DESOLDER THE WIRE TO THE MIDDLE LUG OF THE VOLUME POT.

-SOLDER THE 470K RESISTOR THERE. IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE SWITCHED. WHEN THE CAP IS NOT IN PARALLEL TO THIS RESISTOR, THERE ARE NO EFFECTS. NOT EVEN A DECREASE IN VOLUME! IT'S ONE OF THOSE SILLY THINGS THAT HAPPENS IN ELECTRONICS. (IF THE RESISTOR WAS BEFORE THE POT, IT WOULD REDUCE THE VOLUME BY 25%.)

-SOLDER ONE LEG OF THE 470pF CAP TO THE JUNCTION OF THE NEW 470K RESISTOR AND THE WIRE THAT GOES BACK TO THE PCB. SOLDER THE OTHER LEG TO THE VOLUME POT SWITCH (ONE SIDE OF THE SWITCH).

-NOW SOLDER A SMALL JUMPER WIRE FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PUSH/PULL SWITCH. CONNECT THIS TO THE MIDDLE LUG OF THE POT. WHAT THIS DOES IS CONNECT THE 470pF CAP IN PARALLEL TO THE 470K WHEN THE SWITCH IS CLOSED. WHEN THE SWITCH IS OPEN, IT'S JUST THE 470K RESISTOR, WHICH DOES NOTHING BY ITSELF IN THIS APPLICATION."]
